anyway, this dressing is very good. it's ultra creamy and doesn't have the "bite" usually found in blue cheese dressings. i really like the "bite", but this works terrifically with just a great taste taking the product for a home run (notice the baseball in the background?).
it's also titled "blue" cheese, instead of "bleu" cheese.
americanized and comforting probably fit here. but what's wrong with that on occasion? this perfect for those of us who like creamy dressings but are too uppity to say we flat out like ranch.

Love me some blue cheese dressing. I prefer to make mine at home though, as I can make it exactly how I like. Only one constant in my blue cheese dressing really, and that is I always use castello's danish blue cheese. Works GREAT for making dressings.
ReplyDeleteOn their website, http://www.castellocheeseusa.com , they have several different varieties of blue, including crumbled blue with cranberries (great for dressing, believe it or not.)
